Fred’s House are an award winning band mixing elements of Folk/Pop, Country, 70’s Classic Rock and West Coast. The five piece have racked up over 500 gigs in the past 6 years and are rapidly gaining a following and reputation for their outstanding live shows across the UK. Having released their debut album Bonnie & Clyde in 2014 to critical acclaim, grabbing 4 and 5 star reviews across the board, they also scooped two awards at the NMG Awards in 2013 for ‘Best Folk/Roots Act’ and ‘Audience Choice’. With festival performances on the main stage at the Acoustic Festival of Britain and Cambridge Folk Festival under their belt, the band have also supported the likes of Eddi Reader, Ward Thomas and The Shires, received national airplay on BBC 6Music and live sessions on BBC Introducing and championed by the likes of Radio 2 Bob Harris’ when they were invited to perform on his ‘Under the Apple Tree’ sessions.
Their songs feature the vocals song-writing duo Griff Jameson and Vikki Gavin, who voices blend to create a beautiful and powerful sound, along with Gafyn Jameson (Griff’s Brother) on Bass/backing vocals, Lachlan Golder on Electric Guitar and ‘The Happiest Drummer’ Paul Richards completing the line-up. Their much anticipated second album Faultlines is out now.
